Instrumentation Description
For the ACS Container
The instrumentation (settings) description within the ACS container should be an XML file corresponding to the instrument.xsd XML schema. This XML schema defines an XML format describing flow cytometry instruments with the level of detail as required by the Minimum Information about a Flow Cytometry Experiment (MIFlowCyt, ISAC Recommendation of February 2008).
The attached example XML is intended to demonstrate the XML schema. PDF versions of both, the XML schema (download instrument.xsd in PDF) and the XML example ((download XML example in PDF) are available for easy review and print.
